Prema is a Sanskrit word for universal love, a state of being in pure presence and acceptance of others. This is similar to what Carl Rogers, the renowned creator of Person-Centered Therapy called unconditional positive regard. My goal is to hold this space for clients while utilizing an array of integrative therapeutic approaches to help clients break free from past traumas and current challenges, so they can embody more joy and fulfillment in their lives. I consider it a great honor to walk this healing path with my clients.

WhY Prema?

I am an integrative psychotherapist (intern), international integrative bodyworker, and international meditation teacher.

At a young age I delved deeply into the meditative healing arts, learning from monks and teachers from various lineages across the globe. I have both learned and taught meditation worldwide and I bring this passion for the inner world into my multidisciplinary healing modalities.

My career background includes many caretaking environments, included working with neurodiverse children and as a licensed massage therapist/Craniosacral Therapist. I hold a BA in Psychology with a specialization in Advocacy for Diverse Cultures from City University of Seattle and I attended Antioch University’s Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a deep focus on multicultural counseling and treating trauma. Most recently, I was accepted into a Doctorate in Psychology, with an emphasis in Somatic Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, a global leader in holistic psychology and social change, located in the heart of San Franscisco.

Beyond college, I have many specialized trauma trainings including EMDR, somatic (body-oriented), and contemplative (meditative) psychotherapeutic approaches. I have a strong passion for incorporating global approaches, and anti-oppressive frameworks into mental health.

As a licensed massage therapist with nearly two decades of bodywork experience, I have trained and mentored bodyworkers in high-end luxury hotels, day spas, and the holistic wellness industry. I share my passion for bodywork through international and local workshops.

In all aspects of my work, whether bodywork, meditation, or integrative therapies, my intention is to bring mindfulness, healing, and loving-kindness to the forefront while realigning, restructuring, and rebalancing the body and mind, both near and far.
