Prema is a Sanskrit word for universal love, a way of being rooted in presence, acceptance, and compassion. This idea mirrors what Carl Rogerss, the founder of Person-Centered Therapy, described as unconditional positive regard. My intention is to hold this kind of space for every client I work with: a space of deep acceptance, safety, and possibility. Within this container, I draw from a wide spectrum of integrative therapeutic approaches to help people release the weight of past traumas and navigate present challenges, so they can step into lives filled with more joy, meaning, and fulfillment. Walking alongside clients on their healing journey is one of my greatest honors.

WhY Prema?

I am an integrative psychotherapist, international bodyworker, and meditation teacher with nearly two decades of experience helping people reconnect with themselves and transform their lives.

From a young age, I immersed myself in meditative healing traditions, learning directly from monks and teachers of diverse lineages across the world. This early training shaped not only my understanding of the mind-body connection but also my passion for guiding others into the inner stillness where healing unfolds. Over the years, I have taught and practiced meditation internationally, weaving its depth and wisdom into my therapeutic work.

My professional path has always been rooted in care, working with neurodiverse children, supporting people through body-based therapies, and now serving as a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and multicultural counseling. My academic background includes a BA in Psychology with a specialization in Advocacy for Diverse Cultures from City University of Seattle, and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University with a focus on trauma and multicultural perspectives. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis in Somatic Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, a leader in holistic psychology and social transformation.

In addition to psychotherapy, I hold advanced training in EMDR, hypnotherapy, somatic (body-oriented) practices, and contemplative (meditative) psychotherapies. As a licensed massage therapist and Craniosacral Therapist, I’ve trained and mentored bodyworkers across high-end spas, wellness centers, and international retreats. These experiences have refined my ability to help clients access deep states of relaxation, safety, and release.

Whether through therapy, bodywork, or meditation, my work always rests on the same foundation: cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and embodied presence. My goal is not only to support healing, but also to help people realign with their inner wholeness and move forward with greater freedom, resilience, and clarity.
